here’s the truth,
It’s the little things. It’s about you.
I want to create whole heartedly raw and emotional images that go above the typical and traditional photography style. I want to create something that is you. Because after all, it’s your story, and it deserves to be known and seen.
I don’t want to be just a photographer to you. I want to build long lasting friendships accompanied by those long, wild, and memorable conversations which create your story, together. It’s all about the real moments. The loud; the quiet; the messy; the emotional and soft. I want to be present and observe every part of it while documenting it. I don’t care for the staggered or the stiff posing. I rather document in a way that is organic, natural and true to you. Having trust and comfort with me is so important — that way, we can create magic together.
Let’s be real: I may not be the perfect fit for everyone. We may not connect and there might be another photographer out there that suits your documenting style better. And that’s ok. But if you feel connected and you’re wanting the adventurous, intimate, honest - and want photographing your love in the truest form - we might just be kindred spirits.

I am currently from Ottawa, ON. As of right now, I do not travel worldwide. I will travel to locations just outside of Ottawa area though. Hopefully in the next coupla years, I will start taking on destination weddings!
How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been shooting for nearly 8 years now and 4 years for small intimate weddings.
How many images do we get?
For a one hour portrait session, you get to choose 15 edited photos. For weddings, it varies in the packages! I do not withhold any images, edits depends on the number of hours I am shooting for. More information for wedding edits is given during inquiries.
Are you able to photoshop us?
When it comes to the editing process, I only soften the skin and take away things that are not meant to be permanently there. I will not change around your appearance as it will not look natural and real.
Do you give out RAW files?
No. I do not give out any RAW files to clients.
What is your turnaround time?
This always depends on my schedule and how busy some of the months can be for me. For portrait sessions I give myself 1-2 weeks for you to receive your online gallery. Weddings are typically 4-8 weeks. I do my best to give you your galleries as fast as possible while giving each image the time it needs to be 100% ready for you to have. Sometimes it can be faster, sometimes it can be longer. It all depends!
What do we wear?
I typically recommend that neutral earthy tones work best. This doesn’t only mean greys and blacks, there’s neutral colours of every colour (i.e. yellow mustard, forest green, navy, burnt orange, etc). Try to stay away from vibrant colours along with lots of patterns. The only specific colours I typically recommend to stay away from are reds, pinks, bright oranges etc. If you really want to wear something that is more vibrant, just check with me! How do you define your style?
Adventurous, intimate, real and visually artistic yet subtle. I want my images to bring you back on these special milestones, to make you remember it all but most importantly, to make you feel.
Are you ok with me adding another filter on the image(s) and editing it?
Please please please, do not do this. I spend a lot of time getting each image ready and edited for you. I would also really appreciate my work as is!
